Our story…
Handling a first interview at 12 years old may be challenging for children. Some may feel over-stimulated by the new situation and need more time to observe before responding. On the other hand, some may feel uncomfortable with new faces and find it hard to respond.
Given similar talents, confident and outspoken students tend to stand out in interviews than reserved and quiet candidates.
Your child is wonderful as they are and need not change into someone very outspoken. They just need to learn to speak up confidently during the interview session to let the interviewers notice, like and remember them.
Our founder, Carol Wong, is an introvert who loves spending time alone. She received a full scholarship after successfully clearing multiple rounds of interviews and this experience taught her the importance of speaking confidently when the occasion calls for it.
Interview skills can be learned with guidance and improved with practice in a safe space.
We want to help young students handle their first interviews with confidence so that they can receive opportunities to reach their limitless potential.
What’s in this workshop?
This is an interactive online workshop designed using the Accelerated Learning (AL) methodology. It is a small group with a maximum of only 12 students so that everyone gets a chance to participate.
It includes:
- Strategies to show your confident self
- Strategies to craft personalised responses
- Workbook with tips and list of possible interview questions
- Workbook exercises
- Individual interview demonstration + feedback
- Scenario-based group interview demonstration + feedback

When and where?
- Date: 24 March 2024 (Sunday)
- Time: Registration starts at 2.15 p.m. Session runs from 2.30 to 5.00 p.m. (Singapore time) and includes breaks
- Mode: Online via Zoom
Notes:
- The session is designed for students. Parents may observe if the child is comfortable.
- Maximum capacity: 12 participants, for optimal interaction.
- Technical requirements:
- Tablet or laptop
- Stable Internet connection
- Video camera (so that we can observe facial expressions and body language)
- Speaker or microphone (so that we can give feedback on verbal responses)
- Participants need to turn on their video cameras during the workshop.

Who’s the facilitator?
Carol’s passion for learning has enabled her to excel in school and at work. Under a full scholarship, she graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, majoring in Accountancy, as the top graduate who received 9 awards including the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal, PricewaterhouseCoopers Gold Medal and KPMG Gold Medal.
In 2005, she was the top student in the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) programme in Singapore. In her former career, she specialised in personal financial planning and was a lecturer for the ChFC programme.
In 2008, she left the corporate world and moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to raise her three children. After completing a Montessori certificate programme, she homeschooled her children during kindergarten. Today, she coaches her children and others towards realising their limitless potential.
Her special interests are young talent development and the teaching and learning of Mathematics. As a mother and educator, she has designed workshops and learning materials to help thousands of busy parents worldwide teach their children effectively and efficiently. She is a Certified Improvement and Development Coach, Certified Accelerated Learning Practitioner, and Certified Virtual Learning Facilitator.
Over the years, Carol has guided parents and children from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, India, the USA, Europe and more.

FAQs
1. My child is in P5 this year. Can he attend the workshop?
The workshop is designed for P6 students who are preparing for DSA interviews this year. If your child has an upcoming interview for other programmes, you may enrol them too.
Alternatively, your child may attend our workshop when in P6 next year.
2. May I attend the workshop with my child?
Yes, if your child feels comfortable participating in the workshop with you observing. Otherwise, it is better to let them attend independently. You know your child best.
Our objective is to help your child speak up confidently.
3. Is there a sibling discount?
Yes! All siblings get a 5% rebate. To get your rebate, add 2 (or more) tickets to checkout so that you can book your seats. Then send us an email with the siblings’ names.
Please note that each sibling needs to have a laptop or tablet to participate in the workshop.
4. Is there a group discount?
Yes! We love attending workshops with our besties too. Everyone in a group of 3 or more gets a 5% rebate. To get your rebate, each group member has to enrol and complete payment so that you can book your seats.
Then one representative can send us an email or chat message that lists each parent’s name and email address. We’ll then send you the rebate via the same payment mode.

5. Are bursaries available?
Yes! We believe that every child deserves to reach their limitless potential regardless of family finances. Three bursaries are available to Singapore Citizen students who need them.
The seats have been reserved separately, so even if the seats are sold out, you may still apply for the bursary.
- GHI ≤ $3,000 or PCI ≤ $750: 99% sponsorship
- GHI $3,001-$4,400 or PCI $751-$1,100: 75% sponsorship
- GHI $4,401-$7,500 or PCI $1,101-$1,875: 50% sponsorship

6. What are the payment methods?
As there are only 12 seats, to ensure there’s no overbooking, only payment through this website (PayPal, credit or debit cards) is accepted.

8. What is the cancellation and refund policy?
We understand that unforeseen personal circumstances may occur, such that your child is unable to attend the workshop.
All cancellations or changes must be requested by email.
If your child is unable to attend the workshop, you may transfer your enrolment to another nominated child. Send us an email to let us know.
Cancellations more than 30 days before the workshop:
- 100% refund
Cancellations more than 14 days and up to 30 days before the workshop:
- 50% refund less SGD20 administrative fees
Cancellations within 14 days before the workshop:
- No refund. You may watch the full workshop recording within 1 month.
We reserve the right to make any changes to the workshop.
If the workshop needs to be cancelled or postponed (for instance, due to technical reasons, or the facilitator being unwell), you may choose to receive a full refund or attend the next available session.
